The Short Version
Chunky Munster is a free collection of browser-based tools. They are provided as-is, with no warranty of any kind. You use them at your own risk. We accept no liability for losses arising from use of the site or its tools. You agree to use the tools only for lawful purposes.
1. Who We Are
"Chunky Munster", "we", "us" and "our" refer to the operators of chunkymunster.com. The site is operated remotely as an online-only project. You can contact us at chunkymunsterapps@gmail.com.
2. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing or using any part of Chunky Munster you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
3. Free, No Sign-Up, No Account
All tools are free to use. There is no sign-up, no account, and no paywall. Donations are entirely voluntary and processed by PayPal under their own terms; we do not store payment information.
4. Tools Provided "As Is"
The tools and content on Chunky Munster are provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties or representations of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to:
- warranties of accuracy, completeness or fitness for any particular purpose;
- warranties that the tools will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of viruses or other harmful components;
- warranties that any output will meet your requirements or any external standard.
You are solely responsible for verifying any output before relying on it for any purpose, especially anything legal, financial, medical, professional or safety-related.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chunky Munster, its operators and contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages — including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, business opportunity, or any other intangible loss — arising from or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the site or any tool on it.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
6. No Professional Advice
Tools categorised as Finance (loan, mortgage, compound interest, salary, tax, stock market hours and similar) are for general informational purposes only and do not constitute financial, investment, tax or accounting advice. Tools categorised as Health (BMI, calorie and similar) are for general informational purposes only and do not constitute medical advice. Always consult a qualified professional before making decisions based on tool output.
7. Lawful Use Only
You agree to use Chunky Munster only for lawful purposes. You must not use any tool to:
- send unsolicited bulk communications, including but not limited to email, SMS or messaging spam;
- harass, defraud, deceive, defame or cause harm to any person;
- violate any law or regulation in your jurisdiction;
- infringe the intellectual property, privacy or other rights of any third party;
- access, scrape or otherwise harvest data from the site by automated means in a way that places undue load on our infrastructure.
In particular, addresses or other contact information extracted using tools such as the Email Extractor or URL Extractor must not be used for unsolicited marketing. You alone are responsible for ensuring your activity complies with applicable law, including (without limitation) the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR, the US CAN-SPAM Act, Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), and any equivalent law in your jurisdiction.
8. Privacy & Your Data
Chunky Munster tools run entirely in your browser. Input you provide is not transmitted to or stored on our servers, except where a tool explicitly fetches data from a third-party API (such as live exchange status or earthquake feeds), in which case the request is made directly from your browser to that third party. 9. Intellectual Property
The site design, branding ("Chunky Munster" name, mascot and logo), the textual content of pages, and the underlying source code are owned by us or licensed to us. You may use the tools and quote short extracts of content with attribution, but you may not republish, redistribute or commercially exploit substantial portions of the site without our prior written consent.
Output you generate using a tool (e.g. a generated password, a converted file, a calculated value) belongs to you. We claim no rights over your input or your output.
10. Third-Party Links and Content
The site may link to third-party websites or load third-party resources (for example Google Fonts). We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of any third party.
11. Donations
Donations made via PayPal are voluntary, non-refundable, and do not create any contractual obligation on our part to provide ongoing service, support, features or future tools. Chunky Munster remains free for everyone whether you donate or not.
12. Changes to the Site or these Terms
We may add, remove, modify or discontinue any tool or feature at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time; the current version will always be available at this URL with the "Last updated" date at the top.
13. Termination
We may, at our sole discretion, restrict or block access to the site for any user who breaches these Terms or whose use causes harm to other users or to our infrastructure.
14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
