Our Commitment to Accuracy

Every tool on Chunky Munster is built to produce correct, verifiable output. We implement tools against published specifications — RFCs, NIST standards, W3C recommendations, ECMA standards, and ISO specifications — and we cite those sources directly on tool pages. Where a standard governs the algorithm or format, the link to that standard is on the page.

Tool Development Standards

All tools on this site are developed with the following principles:

• Specification-first: Algorithms are implemented against authoritative published specifications, not third-party reimplementations.
• Browser-side execution: All computation happens in your browser. This means you can inspect the code, and we cannot introduce server-side errors or data logging.
• No hidden dependencies: Tools do not silently call external APIs (except where explicitly disclosed, e.g. TTFB Checker, IP Lookup, Space Calendar).
• Transparent limitations: Where a tool has known limitations — such as file size caps, browser compatibility notes, or algorithm constraints — these are documented on the tool page.

Content Review Process

Tool descriptions, explanations, and FAQ answers are written to accurately reflect how each algorithm or format works. Content is reviewed before publication and updated when specifications change or errors are identified. If you spot an error, please contact us — we take corrections seriously and aim to address them promptly.

Corrections and Updates

When errors are identified — whether by users or internally — they are corrected as quickly as possible. Significant corrections are noted. Tools are updated when the underlying standard changes (for example, when new hash algorithm recommendations supersede older ones, or when browser API support changes). The site-wide last-modified date is updated on each release.
