The Chunky Munster Stock Market Hours tracker shows live trading status for 11 major global exchanges — including the NYSE, London Stock Exchange, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and more. It automatically adjusts for Daylight Saving Time (DST) changes in each country, and includes public holiday and bank holiday data for 2025 and 2026 so you always know when a market will be closed.
Pre-market sessions (shown in yellow) allow institutional traders and some retail investors to trade before the regular session opens. Regular hours (green) are the main trading session. After-hours (orange) allow continued trading after the closing bell. Note that pre-market and after-hours sessions typically have lower liquidity and wider bid-ask spreads.
The tracker uses your browser's timezone API to compute the correct UTC offset for each exchange in real time, so DST transitions happen automatically. The US changes clocks on the second Sunday in March and first Sunday in November. The UK and EU change on the last Sunday in March and October. Australia and other southern-hemisphere markets observe reverse DST.
